I was the Principal at Wanguri Primary School in 2019 when LA Build completed the reroofing of the school buildings.
Mat Wright provided all the information I needed to ensure that I was able to discuss the plans with staff and the school community so we all knew what was happening and when. The communication with Mat Wright and LA Build team throughout the project was excellent and timely at all times. I was also able to contact them if any minor issues occurred during the project, they responded very quickly on all occasions and the issues were rectified in a timely manner and to a satisfactory conclusion.
LA Build was successfully able to meet the identified timelines, were willing and able to realign timelines to work with school times and completed the project earlier than initially expected. They were also able to effectively negotiate and work with other contractors completing playground updates during the project to minimise impact on the students and teachers.
At no time during the project did I receive anything other than positive feedback from the students, staff, School Council, parents or the community. As the project was completed, I thought wow that was easy!
I am writing this reference as I confidently recommend LA Build, Mat and his team for future projects - it was a real pleasure to work with them all.
